I am a complex systems researcher focusing on human behavior (cooperation, social structure, communication, performance) and network science (dynamics on networks, statistical modeling of networks). My goal as a researcher is to leverage insights from the behavioral and complex systems sciences to improve human performance in teams and organizations. I am currently a research scientist at the U.S. Army Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences. Formerly, I was a postdoctoral associate in Naoki Masuda's lab at the State University of New York at Buffalo. My ongoing research topics include military personnel assignment (staffing) and early warning signals for tipping points in complex systems.
